This piece of wall-art is made from discarded timber such as old wooden pallets, upcycled through a specialised tumbling process to create a natural, driftwood-like texture. Knots, cracks, and even the occasional embedded stone give each piece its own story and rustic character.

This artwork features a seascape which celebrates the location of Tiritiri Matangi Island within Tīkapa Moana/Hauraki Gulf. The designs are laser cut into the wood and then completed with shimmering pāua & mother of pearl shell inlay.
