A favourite among our guides, these magnifiers are small enough to fit in your pocket or bag - easy to take on your outdoor excursions. They open up a whole new world of observation at the macro level and are great for both adults and children. Our educators run programmes for students in the afternoons where they observe the natural world and learn about the biodiversity that we can't see with our naked eye.

Some of our favourite things to observe on Tiritiri Matangi Island are; māhoe leaf skeletons & flowers, pōhutukawa bark, small fungi and moss. But you don't have to be in an open sanctuary in order to use your magnifier, you will find that there is plenty to observe where-ever you are.
