Heather Giles, North to Hauturu, 2025, acrylic 

This is an original painting by NZ artist Heather Giles. It is painted from the perspective at the northern end of Tiritiri Matangi Island, looking out towards Hauturu/Little Barrier Island. The artist visited Tiritiri Matangi Island a few years ago and was very inspired by the visit and how close she was able to get to all of the amazing flora & fauna.

Heather is an established artist with several decades of experience and loves to work in acrylics. She completed her training in Wellington and is a member of the Tauranga Arts Society.
