The Committee

The Supporters of Tiritiri Matangi has an active governance and management structure.  Our main ‘engines’ are our subcommittees. These are a group of people with a common interest and set of skills who draw up and drive the key projects and outcomes in their respective areas. Our current subcommittees are:

  • Biodiversity & Habitat (habitat enhancement, research, species transfers)
  • Infrastructure (our buildings, tracks, vehicles and equipment)
  • Visitor Experience (our signs, guiding experiences and our shop)
  • Funding & Membership

The main committee meets regularly throughout the year to consider governance and management issues and approve any spending.
