"Greg! the Naughty Takahe"

Written by 12 year old Jennifer Hutchison and illustrated by her mum Anne who is a guide, Greg! the Naughty Takahe describes the real life adventures of Tiri’s much loved bird. Suitable for younger readers, and anyone who enjoys the Tiri Takahe! 

Jennifer’s own story is that she has always had a dream to have a book published by the time she is thirteen. Earlier this year she produced a beautiful collection of illustrated NZ nature poetry ‘Staircase to Heaven’,  which includes a number of scenes from Tiri. This is currently awaiting publication. In the meantime, to assist with the ‘Staircase’ publication expenses, Jen wrote her Greg story book which is selling extremely well (200 copies in two days!!)
