Endemic to the Poor Knights Island.

The Poor Knights lily is a flax like plant with large bottlebrush flowers that grow horizontally. Bright red flowers grow upward from the stalk, with bright orange pollen.

Requires extremely good drainage and can go for months without water.

Grows to a height of 1m tall.
