2018 Photographic Competition
It is that time of year again when we are looking for entries to our photographic competition (and photos for our 2019 calendar which will raise over $10,000 for the Island).
There are five entry categories and all entries must have been taken on the Island:
- fauna
- flora
- people on Tiritiri
- landscape/seascape
- photographer under 16 years old
You can enter up to four photographs in each category. Please e-mail your entries to photocomp@tiritirimatangi.org.nz before 30th April 2018. We will have an independent judge from the New Zealand Photographic Society and all photos must be able to be used for the promotion of Tiritiri Matangi.
To help us with the task of managing your photos:
- they can be any size, but 1 to 5 MB is good
- they should not be zipped
- it will help us with our categorising if you name your image files using the following system:
AA CC XXXXXXXX
Where:
- AA is your initials
- CC is the category
- FL flora
- FA fauna
- PE people
- LS landscape/seascape
- YP young photographer
- XXXXXXXXX description of image (e.g. tui, Hobb's beach, Kowhai flower)
e.g. JS FA Bellbird
PT FL kowhai1
PT FL kowhai2
If your photo is chosen for the 2019 calendar, we may then ask you for the highest resolution version that you have.
